This brought to fruition a goal long held by the owner to extend the scope of Learnet Academy’s programs beyond domestic students to include individuals in need of English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL). Learnet Academy has grown up to be a Higher Education Institute accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Focus of Study : The EFL programprovidesintensive English instruction and orientation for international studentsplanning to attend American colleges and universities, as well as individuals pursuing professional training in the U.S.
Benefit, Goal of this course : Students who complete the Intermediate or Advanced levels of this program acquiresufficient English and job-related information to successfully begin work or pursue further education or training. The program is designed to provide students with dramatically improved language skills by providing a small student-to-teacher ratio and a standardized, intensive, comprehensive, structure-based curriculum.
Curriculum : There are three levels for the students and these are beginning, intermediate and advanced. The number of class days is 20, which means students are attending class for 4 weeks. It takes 80 hours for each class. The programs starts every week.

Homestays Homestays offer the student a unique experience living and interacting with a family in the Los Angeles area. You will have your own bedroom with 2 meals a day (usually breakfast and dinner). All host family homes are just a short bus ride of 20 to 30 minutes to Learnet Academy class.
Furnished Apartments Furnished apartments offer double occupancy rooms and some single occupancy rooms. Furnished apartments include basic furniture for living room, bedroom, kitchen, and dining room. Rent prices also include utilities. All buildings are secure, and many have swimming pools and/or Jacuzzis. Optional packages may include local telephone service, cable TV. and other items.
Our Housing Coordinator will assist you in reserving a space. He can also give you information about local hotels and youth hostelsin case you must arrive before your housing move-in date.
Facilities
Library Operations Learnet Academy Library is pleased to present new material not only in our physical library located on campus, but additional online resources for easier access for students and faculty members as well. The new website has a new format which guides patrons to useful resources for professional development, research, and academic materials.
Multimedia Center Computers in the multimedia center are for use by Learnet Academy faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students only. Computer access requires a user authentication and password that is entered by library staff.
e-Library Library World is Learnet Academy's web-based library automation service. It contains the catalog of our collection. In order to search our catalog, students and staff can use Library World in order to find books and other cataloged items.
Location
Getting to the school from the airport
Airport pick-up and delivery services are provided from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) by Super Shuttle. There is a separate charge for this service. An Airport Transportation Reservation Form is included in the "Welcome" packet that we send to the student. Simply fill out the form with the date, time, and airline information for the day of arrival along with the address of the destination. Include credit card information for payment and a fax number or e-mail for notification of confirmation.
