Conditional Admission
Language Pacifica maintains partnerships with Foothill College, De Anza College, Cañada College, Menlo College, College of San Mateo, Skyline College, and Notre Dame de Namur University for those students who wish to attend one of those colleges but do not have the necessary English skills to qualify for admission. This partnership is called the Concurrent Acceptance Program and provides an opportunity for international students to preplan their education while studying in the United States. Students apply to both schools concurrently, and the schools work together to ensure the students timely success and satisfaction.

Furthermore, Small class size and high teacher-to-student ratio in Language Pacifica is a key feature of the school.
Focus of Study and Benefit : Language Pacifica's Intensive English Program is designed to help students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succed academiccally in a American college or university, professionally in individual's career field and socially. In a small classroom setting of 10 to 15 people, students can interact with instructors more freely both inside and outside of classroom. The program primarily focuses on Reading, Writng, Listening and Speaking.
Curriculum : Language Pacifica's Intensive Program is designed for students who want to progress rapidly and see immediate results. All classes are five days per week, Monday through Friday. The Intensive Program is the only option for students with an F-1 student visa. Based on their placement test results, students are placed in 6 levels of English instructions. Language Pacifica International College offers a variety of programs suited to different lifestyles.
Classroom Hour : Language Pacifica offers five 50-minute group classes per day, as follows: 9:00-11:50 a.m. (3 classes/day) — Integrated Skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Vocabulary and Writing) 12:00-12:50 p.m. (1 class/day) — Grammar 2:00-2:50 p.m. (1 class/day) — Elective class, such as Discussion or TOEFL Preparation Private lessons can be scheduled for any time during the day.

Host Family-Most Language Pacifica students who require housing stay with a host family. Each Language Pacifica host has been carefully chosen. Selection usually consists of a telephone interview, an in-home interview, and sometimes a follow-up meeting. We now work with more than 150 hosts, located in the area between San Carlos to the north and Sunnyvale to the south, and accessible by one hour or less of public transportation.-Language Pacifica defines “host family” as a single woman, a single woman with children, or a couple with or without children.Hotel or Motel-here are many hotels, motels and inns, starting from $70 plus tax per night, in the Menlo Park area for those interested in this option.Furnished Apartments-There are several complexes of short-term, furnished and unfurnished apartments, often used by corporate executives. The monthly rates are $1345-$3200, and the apartments are new, beautifully appointed and very clean.
Surrounding Area
Language Pacifica is close to Stanford Shopping Center so the students can buy their wants and needs. The downtown area is well known for its many restaurants, bistros, cafes, and boutiques. Language Pacifica also provides evening activities such as visits to restaurants, concerts, lectures, and theaters. Moreover, it is within short distance from Stanford University.

Language Pacifica offers an unique opportunity for international students to meet and make new friends from diverse cultures. There are cafeteria, balconies, dining hall, library, sports club and the other facilities that help the students get to know all their classmates and take advantage of all the activities and programs that Language Pacifica provides.
