Conditional Admission
Applicants who meet the University's academic and financial requirements, but who do not meet the minimum placement test requirement, may be offered conditional admission. This enables students to increase their language proficiency through study in OSU's intensive English language programs (INTO OSU) while possibly taking academic courses.The INTO OSU Undergraduate Pathway in Business leads to the second year of the pre-business major at OSU. At the end of the second year of study, qualified students may compete for admission to the upper division (pro school) of the business degree program.

Oregon State University (OSU) is a coeducational, public research university located in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. The university offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees and a multitude of research opportunities. There are more than 200 academic degree programs offered through the university. OSU's programs in microbiology,nuclear engineering, ecology, forestry, public health, biochemistry, zoology, oceanography, food science and pharmacy are recognized nationally as top tier programs. Homestay The homestay program provides you with a home away from home. You live as part of the family in either a shared or private bedroom, experiencing the day-to-day life of your host. We have a network of carefully selected homestay hosts who welcome international students into their homes as family. The number of available families is limited, and students participating must meet certain criteria.
The International Living-Learning Center Many students will be placed in the new International Living-Learning Center, which houses the INTO OSU program, classrooms, auditorium and Global Village, a unique residential community for undergraduate international and domestic students. This beautiful, multi-purpose, environmentally-friendly building also has a coffee shop and a market offering a wide variety of fresh, local and cultural foods.Every effort is made to place INTO OSU international students with American roommates or suitemates. This diverse cultural environment provides international and US students with the opportunity to have an international experience.
