Conditional Admission
Conditional admission is offered to students whose overall academic record shows their readiness to be successful as degree-seeking students with some level of English proficiency support. Students who may benefit from additional academic preparation in addition to English proficiency support are encouraged to begin with INTO GMU Pathways. The INTO GMU Academic English option is available to students who need more extensive English proficiency support, either because they do not have TOEFL/IELTS or because their results are too low for Pathways or Conditional Admission qualification.
