Benefit, Goal of this course : Our communicative approach involves students in authentic communication as often as possible, as well as teaches language learning strategies that can be applied outside of the classroom in real-life and academic situations. The inlingua Method aims to maximize student interaction and use of English inside the classroom. Students learn English in interactive classes in which English is used at all times to focus on improving fluency in all language skill areas. Lessons can include a variety of topical integrated-skills activities, which include question and answer activities, pair work, games, and discussions and can involve dialogues, role plays, educational games, multimedia activities, oral presentations, group projects, class celebrations, field trips, and homework to reinforce learning. The lessons are student-centered, fun and interactive.
Curriculum : Teachers are trained to accommodate different learning styles. Our lessons demand high participation from the students, so students will notice their understanding of the language improving at a fast rate! There are textbooks, and through a carefully structured program, the books are used judiciously, which maximizes students’ opportunities to analyze. Getting Around: Our apartments are conveniently located near a primary metro station. Most apartments are located next to the Crystal City Metro, where students will board the blue line and ride just 11 minutes to our location in Rosslyn! Buses are also a popular choice for transportation. Total maximum distance from Inlingua via public transportation is 20-30 minutes.
