-official transcript from highschool and diploma cert. of completion.
-Offcial bank statement and sponsorship form(min. approx. $20,000 USD - total costs per academic year)
-Toefl min. of 45 on iBT. IELTS 4.5 min.
-One page Essay/ Personal statement of education/career goals.

Apartments: Glendale CC does not offer dorm facilities. for that reason, Students from afar need to use one of the various housing options near campus. the average rent cost varies on the facilities and size of the apartment but usually in the range of 1000$ to 1200$.
Homestay: Students can choose to homestay in an american household. you can get info about the area and house and the family through the Student-host family mediating agency, ISP. in order to get further info and homestay application form, contact the international student association : www.isphomestays.com

Scholarship
Financial Assistance/Scholarships: Students on the F-1 visa category (as non-residents) are not eligible for U.S.
federal government or California State financial aid programs. Students may apply for a very limited number of
Glendale scholarships or grants after completing one semester or 12 units of college credit.These awards can
be based on academic achievement, major of study and/or financial need.
Finally, a very limited number of part-time jobs (up to 20 hours per week maximum) are sometimes available
on campus for International students. No guarantee of part-time employment can be provided by the College.

Getting to the school from the airport
Please Note: The College cannot provide Airport pickup/shuttle services. Students can arrange Airport ground
transportation to the Glendale area (approximately one hour) with one of severalAirport shuttle van companies
(such as:“Super Shuttle”—blue-colored vans) readily available at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).The
approximate cost for Super Shuttle services will be $45 to $50 USD.
