c)Standard Programs (Intensive English, Semi-Intensive English, American Explorer, Business English)If you withdraw during the first four weeks of your booked course, ELS will retain the first four weeks of tuition and fees as a non-refundable fee. You will be eligible for a prorated tuition refund on any remaining weeks of your booked course. This refund will be calculated by week based on the weekly price for the actual length of study.

Description: Shared double occupancy suites offered in the off-campus Premiere Hotel and Suites. Rooms include two beds, two dressers, desks, lamps, two closets, cable TV, high speed wired Internet, full kitchens, and a sofa. Also included is daily hot buffet breakfast and dinner from Monday- Thursday. Rooms are cleaned once a week. Linens, pots, pans, glasses, silverware and dishware are all included. There is also a fitness center and a business center on the
premises. A complimentary van will drive the students directly to ELS on the first day of the session.

Description: Many homestays are located in West Haven near campus; some are conveniently located in New Haven and other communities near campus. Homestay students are responsible for their personal transportation. Most students take a

Surrounding Area
ELS/New Haven is located at the University of New Haven (UNH) in West Haven, adjacent to the city of New Haven. Known for its continuing tradition as a national educational and cultural center, historic New Haven is home to six colleges and universities including prestigious Yale University. It is also home to the Schubert Theatre and the New Haven Green – a site of many free music concerts, arts festivals and the New Haven Jazz Festival. UNH is only ten minutes from the West Haven shoreline of Sandy Point, and within easy reach of New York City and Boston. New Haven has hot summers (June, July and August) and cold winters (November through March). Students should bring appropriate clothing.
