Conditional Admission
Some students have strong academic backgrounds and training but have not had enough preparation in English, as measured by the TOEFL test. These students are given conditional admission to. They attend INTERLINK to improve their English. When they complete INTERLINK's English program, they are fully admitted. No TOEFL score is required in this instance.

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), also known as UNC Greensboro, is a public university in Greensboro,North Carolina, United States and is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina system. However, UNCG, like all members of the UNC system, is a stand alone university and awards its own degrees. Accommodation
On-campus housing is available to all applicants who enter the program in January or August and plan to study at INTERLINK for an entire semester (two terms).
Student Health Insurance: Travel insurance is not the same as health insurance. INTERLINK requires students who are studying on an F-1 visa and their dependents
to have health insurance. Travel insurance is designed for people traveling to cover cancellations, personal belongings and only emergency medical treatment,
whereas international health insurance is designed to cover inpatient treatment check-ups and continuing treatment of chronic conditions abroad.
Housing and Meal Plans:
If you are planning on staying in the UNCG dormitories, please let us know as soon as possible. On-campus housing must be confirmed at least 15 weeks
prior to the start of the program. On campus housing is in high demand and UNCG may not have dorm housing available.
All students who choose to live in the dorms during the academic year (August – May) must also choose a meal plan, which can be used at the on-campus dining hall.
Pricing varies depending on the type of room and meal plan you choose.

UNCG is located in Greensboro, North Carolina’s third-largest city. It’s about halfway between Atlanta and Washington, D.C. The Blue Ridge Mountains are just a 2-hour drive to the west; the Atlantic Ocean is 3.5 hours to the east. The population of Greensboro is 270,000. The Piedmont Triad area (including Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point) is home to 1.6 million people. There are 10 other four-year colleges and universities in the Piedmont Triad. There is so much to discover in Greensboro—museums, Broadway and local theatre, movies, galleries, coffee bars, concerts in the park, opera, ballet, and the symphony. Students also enjoy the nightlife in downtown Greensboro, where there are dozens of restaurants and nightclubs. The city’s outstanding parks and recreation system puts the “green” in Greensboro with more than 170 parks, gardens, and facilities. So there are plenty of options - tennis, golf, swimming, biking, volleyball, or simply enjoying the miles of greenways. Greensboro is also home to the largest water park in the Carolinas, Wet ’n Wild Emerald Pointe. For those who prefer winter sports, the Greensboro Ice House is open year-round for skating and hockey. Greensboro Coliseum, just a mile from campus, is the home court for UNCG’s men’s basketball team and hosts a variety of sporting events and concerts throughout the year. Baseball fans enjoy watching Greensboro Grasshoppers play in their downtown stadium, and soccer fans cheer for the Carolina Dynamo.
