FLS is a leader in providing high quality English language programs to international students.FLS International is committed to providing effective English as a Foreign Language education and cultural training to international students and assisting clients during each phase of their educational experience, from their initial entry into the United States to their transfer to a college or university. FSL's partnership with Universal Placement Program provides free college and university placement for students who attend FLS programs of 8 weeks. FLS core classes are a major part of our English Programs. Made up of 9 levels, the core sequence is an integrated skills program that teaches speaking, listening, reading and writing through a modern curriculum, teacher coaching and communicative activities. FSL's system simulates the way students learned their native language, through the natural use of all skills together. The daily core class uses modern, colorful textbooks with fascinating topics, an American reader and regular testing of students' progress or more. The Language Extension Day activities each term introduce students to new aspects of American life, the local community and seasonal events and varied activity program takes students to historical, cultural and natural highlights of each campus area, letting them use nglish in real world settings.
Citrus College(FLS)About the
Citrus College is located in Glendora, California, near the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, and approximately 25 miles northeast of metropolitan Los Angeles. The college has the distinction of being the oldest community college in Los Angeles County and the fifth oldest in California. This public community college serves more than 200,000 residents and the students of the Azusa, Claremont, Duarte, Glendora and Monrovia school districts. Citrus College was founded in 1915 under the leadership of Dr. Floyd S. Hayden, who helped bring the community college movement to California. From 1915 to 1961, the college was operated by the Citrus Union High School District. In July 1961, the Citrus Community College District was created to include the Azusa and Glendora unified school districts. In 1967, the district expanded to include the Claremont, Duarte and Monrovia school districts. Today, Citrus College occupies a 104-acre campus. Since 2004, the college has been undergoing a major facilities expansion project that is changing the look of the campus and providing facilities that will enhance learning. The college enrolled 27 students in 1915 and currently serves over 12,000 students

A homestay is a great way to experience American culture while improving students' English ability. All of FSL centers offer homestay accommodation with American families individually selected by FLS. With host family student'll learn about American daily life, practice English on a regular basis and participate in many aspects of American culture that visitors often don't get to see.

For students who prefer a more independent lifestyle, Citrus College offers shared student apartments within walking distance of the main campus. The apartments are modern design and come fully furnished, with a living room, a full kitchen and adjacent space for dining.
