LCI Language Center is proud to offer quality language centers to meet students' needs with cultural adaptation and create a friendly and caring environment. With great locations across the US, it is one of the premier language institutes in the country. In addition, LCI English Center provides Academic, General & Business English Courses, Accent Reduction, and Test Preparation classes and has partnerships with Colorado universities for conditional admission and TOEFL waivers. LCI is so sure students will make progress that the center guarantees it. If students' English does not improve at the rate that LCI expects based on their initial test, LCI will provide the additional support and classes students need to reach their target level at no extra charge.

Benefit, Goal of this course : LCI has university partnerships and TOEFL waiver programs with the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Regis University, Community Colleges of Spokane, Colorado State University Pueblo College of Business, Mesa State College, Western State College,Westwood College and Redstone College. For each of these schools, LCI has a TOEFL waiver for Level 5 students and can do conditional admission for LCI students. The AEP program prepares students for entry into the university or college of their choice or purely to learn English in a rigorous and challenging manner. Language instruction includes all the language skills with a strong emphasis on written work. Each aspect of the communication needed for university or college work is studied in LCI’s English for academic purposes.

The English for Academic Purposes program (AEP) at LCI is an intensive English Program with college-level English objectives. Host Family -provides students with a true English immersion experience and first-hand exposure to American culture. -provides a private bedroom and breakfast and dinner each day. -Host families are located in areas with access to LCI via public transportation.
Apartment -There are many apartments within walking distance of LCI’s facilities. The students may also choose to have a roommate. -LCI can help the students find a suitable apartment and even assist you with finding a roommate.
Hotel -Hotels offer such amenities as high-speed wireless Internet, laundry service, fitness centers and indoor or outdoor pools. -LCI works with a number of hotels close to our language center and can assist you in making arrangements for your stay.
Student Residences -Student residences allow the students to socialize and practice their English with a variety of people. -Student residences at LCI Language Centers are conveniently located on campus or within easy walking or transportation distance. -Depending on location, the students may have the choice between a double and a single room and a variety of meal plan options.
Surrounding Area
Language center in Houston is located in the historic neighborhood of Montrose. One of the most pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods in Houston, Montrose has tree-shaded streets, international restaurants and vintage shops. And just steps away from front door is the entrance to the University of St. Thomas. LCI Houston is located in the Museum District, home to museums, galleries and cultural centers dedicated to promoting local arts and culture. Within 3-5 blocks of LCI are stops for several buses, two of which go downtown and to the light rail a mile away.
