Accomodation
Campus Corner Apartments are provided for students seeking independence and new friends. Students will prepare their own meals while basic move-in kits, central laundry facility, kitchen and lounge area and Community room are available. Campus housings allow students a quick access to school facilities, on-site student activities and private and group study areas. It is not of students' responsibility to find roommates as all placement will be done by GRCC's housing manager. Homestay is the other option that GRCC offers to its students. It costs $650 per month with airport pickup, area orientation, campus visit, private room, assistance with banking, 3 meals per day, and a $10 long distance phone card provided. Homestay is a perfect choice for students looking to truly experience the American culture.
Surrounding Area
Seattle is a lively city in which students can enjoy whale watching, river rafting, hiking, skiing and snowboarding, snow cave camping, professional sports (soccer, baseball) and shopping. Over breaks, students also take trips to California, Canada, New York, Las Vegas and Hawaii. GRCC is 45-minute drive away from Seattle, 25-minute drive away from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 2.5 hour-drive away from Vancouver, 2 hour-drive away from the Pacific Ocean beaches. 1-2 hour plane trips will take students to San Francisco and Los Angeles.
