Extension Residence Center Open year-round and conveniently located within the UCR Extension Center, the Extension Residence Center (ERC) is the most cost-effective option for students. Rooms are generally double-occupancy, with a limited number of single rooms available. All rooms are furnished and air conditioned and include: Private bathroom. High-speed wireless internet. Telephone (free, unlimited local calls). Cable television. Bed linens and towels.
ERC is ideal for students staying less than two weeks. A breakfast plan is included in the fee. ERC does not have kitchen facilities. Laundry facilities are located within the building. IEP organizes special activities for students staying in the ERC, including camping trips, hiking, movies, parties and barbeques.
International Village
Open year-round and located across the street from the UCR Extension Center, the International Village (IV) offers single- and double-occupancy apartments with living rooms and kitchens. All rooms are furnished and air-conditioned and include: Private bathroom. High-speed internet. Telephone (free, unlimited local calls). Free premium cable service. Ideal for students staying two quarters or more.
Other facilities available to students include a computer lab, fitness gym, billiards room, sports field and basketball court. Laundry facilities are available within the building. IV is a privately run residence located on the UCR campus. Inquiries are made directly through IV.

American Family Homestay
The American Family Homestay program is the most economical housing option and the best opportunity for students to experience American life and customs and to improve their English. Students live in the home of an American family in the Riverside area. All rooms are furnished, double-occupancy. All meals are provided. The family also provides transportation to and from school daily.
