We also offer extra-curricular academic activities: visits to museums, "special guest" visits, trips to places of historical interest, and a thorough look at life in New York City to help engage our students in verbal exploration for the improvement of their English skills.

This program is for 18 hours per week. Either the morning class (Monday thru Thursday 10.00am to 1.30pm Friday 10.00am to 2.00pm) will help you learn and understand speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. This program allows you to communicate better. Improve your reading skills using articles from newspapers and magazines and write the contents in a comprehensive manner. Students will have plenty of free time before and after classes, both weekdays and weekends. This course is suitable for students who also want to explore New York City to have fun during their stay here, learning the language.

As PC TECH is conveniently located at the cross of 42nd St. and Madison Avenue, there are numerous housing options available and with its location next to Grand Central Station there are multiple transportation services for the student’s convenience.There are several businesses and organizations in the area that offer housing and some housing is especially reserved for international students. Residences vary from simple furnished dormitory type rooms to small apartments. Some places have shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities. PC TECH will be happy to help students arrange housing.

PC TECH have extracurricular activities after classes for fun and relaxation. Activities include : Trips to museums, TV channels, restaurants, parks, outdoor games, picnics and more.
Surrounding Area
PC TECH is located on 42nd Street and Madison Avenue in Manhattan, right next to Grand Central Terminal. Grand Central Terminal has been transformed from a mere train terminal to one of the "must-see" places in New York City. The #7 train from Queens stops there, as do the #'s 4,5 and 6 trains and the "S" shuttle from Times Square. If you use F,V,B,D line, get off at 42nd Bryant Park and walk towards Madison Avenue. The school is in the same building as TD Bank. Sometimes, learning English in the classroom can become a bit boring. Because of this, PCTECH regularly offers its students monthly out-of-school activities. A Post Office 4 blocks away, Grand Central Station which is great for international cuisine as weli as transportation and picturesque views ofthe Eagie at GCS with the Chrysier and Empire State Buildings that you only need to look up to see and appreciate. here are various neighborhoods that make up Manhattan, and each of them is unique. They include: Chinatown, SoHo, Greenwich Village, East Village, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Harlem, Lower Manhattan, Little Italy, Tribeca, Civic Center, and Union Square. This part of New York City has long been known for its shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Manhattan is a great place to call home.
As the “city that never sleeps”, New York City offers a large variety of entertainment and activity options. One way to enjoy the city is to take in one of the famous Broadway shows. Off of Broadway there are also several parks and museums within the city that are easily accessible by bus, train, subway or taxi. Other attractions include the Statue of Liberty, the Zoo, Central Park, Fifth Avenue among many others. Many international students will be very interested in sightseeing many of these attractions, as they are a strong part of the culture and history of New York City and New York State. Many of these opportunities are in walking distance.
