At IH New York, you can take English Language Classes, Business English Classes in our Executive English Program, join one of our Summer Camps for Teenagers, or, from our sister school Teaching House, take a Univeristy of Cambridge Teacher Training Course to become an English Teacher. The Intensive English Program is a full-time, English language and
American culture program offered to non-native English-speaking students from

Curriculum :
A 20-lesson-a-week program focused on developing fluency and confidence in all general English skills and areas. The course also includes 1 daily hour-long elective class focusing on English in New York (New York in the News, History of NYC, Broadway Theater, etc.)

A student at International House Language School New York will have a variety of housing options available. All the students can choose to stay in either a Residence, Hotel, Private Apartment, Homestay, or Hostel.
Residence:
International House New York’s Residence option offers dormitory-style housing with single and double rooms, and clean, well-maintained shared bathrooms. In addition to the room, students have weekly housekeeping, linen service and 24-hour security.
Home-stay:
If students are looking to have a more authentic living experience in New York, they may want to stay in an English-speaking household. The households offer bed-and-breakfast or half board, which includes breakfast and dinner.
Hostels:
If students are on a tighter budget, International House New York can arrange their stay in a hostel in Manhattan or the outer boroughs. Private or shared rooms are available.

Facilities
This brand-new school was built in summer 2012 to offer a comfortable, modern and convenient learning environment. IH New York has 14 comfortable, spacious classrooms, with lots of natural light. Moreover, the new building has a language lounge for relaxation and self-study, with a room full of beautiful new Mac computers and other resources for its students to use to improve their English further outside
the classroom. Also IH has 3 rooms dedicated to private classes, as well as free wi-fi throughout the school.

IH New York's weekly program of activities gives students an insider’s look at this fascinating city. Teacher and staff-led excursions will help students to discover some of New York’s most amazing hidden secrets and treasures. International House New York provides a year-round program
