With over level 112 in ELS, students can be accepted to Bachelor, Master and Doctorate's programs. Both Undergraduate and Graduate schools issue a CLA to students.

By completing the ELS English for Academic Purposes program, student satisfy the English requirement for more than 650 ELS partner universities worldwide. ELS University Admission Services will guide students from start to finish as he progress toward his chosen university. Students will make new friends from around the world and come to understand their cultures. This will ensure one a successful journey through a rapidly changing, globalizing world.

Northern Illinois University is a public research university located in DeKalb, Illinois, with satellite centers in Hoffman Estates, Naperville, Rockford and Oregon. It was originally founded as Northern Illinois State Normal School pon May 22nd, 1895 by Illinois Governor John P. Altgeld as part of an expansion of the state's system for producing college educated teachers. The university is composed of seven degree-granting colelges and has a student body of 25,000 with over 225,000 alumni. Many of NIU's programs are nationally accredited for meeting high standards of academic quality, including business, engineering, nursing, visual and performing arts, and all teacher certification programs. DeKalb and close neighbor Sycamore offer many beautiful residential neighborhoods with well-maintained houses and well-groomed lawns. In the spring and summer, families enjoy cookouts, sports, and outdoor games. In the fall, it's fun to walk among the trees with their leaves changing color, and in the winter there are snowmen to build and snowball fights to win or lose and cozy hearths near which to warm up.

수업은 반 마다 진도나 수업내용이 다를테지만 중간중간 시험도 쳤고 한달에 한번씩 시험을 쳐서 반을 올라가는 시스템의 경우 조금 더 공부에 대한 의지를 키울 수 있었던 점 좋았습니다. 반은 나눠져있지만 반마다 수업시간과 쉬는시간은 다 같아 다른반 친구들과도 쉬는시같이 같아 쉽게 어울리고 친해 질 수 있었던 부분이 기억이 납니다. 학교는 위치적으로 외곽에 있다보니 다운타운까지 나가려면 차로 가야하는데 제가 지냈던 동안에는 단 1번뿐이 기회가 없어서 아쉬웠습니다. 학원 자체에서 참여 인원수를 체크하고 버스를 대여하는 시스템인데 제가 있었을 당시는 친구들의 성향이나 참여도가 적었던거같아요! 그리고 저는 5주동안 기숙사에서 지냈는데 방을 들어가면 각 방으로 1인실이라고 생각하면 좋을것 같아요. 방 바로옆에 화장실만 공동사용으로 하고 방 안은 혼자 사용하기에 적당하게 좋았습니다. (참고로 학교에서 기숙사까지는 걸어서 15-20분정도 걸렸습니다.) 정말 정말 좋았던 점은 학교 선생님들 수업에 각각으로 총 3분 선생님이셨는데 가르쳐주셨던분들 뿐 아니라 모든 선생님들 너무 친절하시고 수업에 대한 열의로 알차고 너무 좋았습니다. 아!! 그리고 저처럼 단기로 온 학생보다 대부분 장기프로그램으로 온 학생들이 많은것 같아서그런지 친구들과도 선생님과도 헤어질때 너무 아쉬웠습니다 :(
