Conditional Admission
The Conditional Admission / Eligibility program at San Jose State University is designed for international students who are academically qualified to apply for admission to the university, but have an insufficient score on the TOEFL or IELTS. Conditional admission is an opportunity for you to study for at least one semester at International Gateways, SJSU's intensive English program, until you obtain the required TOEFL or IELTS score. After you earn the score, you can submit a formal application to one of San Jose State University's degree programs via Cal State Apply.

San Jose State University opened its intensive English language program in 1975 to meet the needs of incoming international students. Since that day, thousands of students from more than sixty countries have improved their English skills for academic, professional, or personal reasons. International Gateways now includes Semester at SJSU, MBA preparation, Active Communication in English as well as the long-standing Academic and Test Preparation program.  With a comfortably mild climate and over 300 days of sunshine per year, San Jose is located near beautiful cities of San Francisco and Berkeley. San Jose State University, the oldest public institution of higher education on West Coast of the US, offers conditional admission to students who meet the language requirement.

OECKO is established in 1981. It is On and Offline study abroad counseling center. We have more than 20,000 students who went abroad to study through OECKO, and these students are working in variety of fields.
