Business English Certificate Vantage (BEC Vantage) – Upper Intermediate This is an examination of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking in an international business context. Students at a broad range of management and clerical levels as well as those with limited business experience should choose BEC Vantage. The Cambridge Business English Certificate exams are accepted worldwide by many companies and universities. Homestay SELC’s Homestay Program involves Australian families in the Eastern Suburbs. Families are chosen for their high-quality accommodation, friendliness, and interest in people from other cultures. There are 2 types of homestay: HALF BOARD: * Private home * Breakfast and dinner provided each day ROOM AND FACILITIES: * Private home * No meals provided * Use of all facilities (you can cook in the family’s kitchen) Homestay counselling is available and students are taught Australian customs and English expressions to help them settle into their homes. Homestay is a wonderful way to experience Australian life while studying English!
Student Lodge Sinclairs has 2 student-only residences providing clean, budget accommodation located between SELC and Bondi Beach. There is a range of rooms, all with wireless internet, TV/DVD player and fridge. Light breakfast is included. Jack’s Place is a state of the art student accommodation facility in one of Sydney’s best locations. Jack’s was built in 2011 and has become one of Sydney’s most popular student accommodation buildings. The property is located in Elizabeth Bay which is one of the most affluent areas in Central Sydney and a quick train ride to SELC in one direction and the centre of Sydney in the other. Accommodation is brand new with modern kitchen, bathrooms, rooftop deck with BBQ, wireless internet , study rooms and large student lounge area.
