Direct Entry arrangements have been approved with Flinders University, University of SA & the University of Ballarat for SACE students completing their English course at and continuing onto University Studies.SACE also has Direct Entry arrangements with TAFE Tasmania, TAFE South Australia and the Great Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE in Queensland.This enables students completing their English course at SACE to enter their chosen tertiary course without the necessity of sitting an IELTS exam.

A course textbook is supplemented by a wide variety of current real-life teaching resources. Students' progress is monitored every four weeks. Accomodation
Accommodation is an important part of the students' language experience. SACE Colleges take great care in selecting accommodation - homestay, hotels or apartments.
Homestay Accommodation Homestay is our most popular accommodation option.Families are carefully selected, and students carefully matched with host families. In selecting homestay families, SACE believes it is important to choose families who appreciate hosting international students. SACE homestay is usually a very successful and happy experience for the student.Homestay accommodation includes 3 meals per day and all bed linen and towels.There is a minimum booking of four weeks homestay, unless course length is less than 4 weeks.
Whitsunday Student Residence The Whitsunday Student Residence is a large, fully self-contained house located within walking distance to the College, beach, shopping centres and bus stop. The house features spacious bedrooms, share kitchen, share living room, share bathroom and share laundry facilities. It is serviced once per week and all linen, cutlery and crockery are supplied.
Hostel Accommodation The Whitsundays College of English is very centrally located. A number of hostels are located within a 10 to 15 walk or short bus trip from the College. Most hostel accommodation is based on single or shared room basis. Twin, triple shared rooms and single rooms are also available. Students have the use of shared kitchen, bathroom and common room facilities. Hostel accommodation is usually organised prior arrival.
Apartment Accommodation Self Contained Studio Apartments - Fully furnished apartments are located a short twenty minute walk from the Whitsundays College of English. Each apartment has is fully self-contained, air-conditioned, includes linen and has access to a pool. Apartment accommodation is organised prior to arrival.
Share Accommodation For students who would prefer to live with local people, in a non-catered, independent environment, a private share house may be the answer. There is a share accommodation noticeboard at the College which lists current vacancies. College staff can also provide information on the best place to find share accommodation.

The Whitsundays is centrally located on the tropical Queensland coast midway between Cairns and Brisbane.The Whitsundays College of English is situated in the beautiful coastal town of Airlie Beach, Gateway to the Whitsundays Islands and Great Barrier Reef. Airlie Beach is a colourful holiday destination with mainland activities ranging from the ambience of lazing around the Airlie lagoon to exploring the bustling Saturday Morning marketplace or vibrant nightlife.The options for exploring the Whitsundays Islands and Great Barrier Reef are unlimited. Dive or snorkel on the reef or enjoy the beautiful white sands of Whitehaven Beach. Go whale watching and visit one of the 74 islands that make up the Whitsundays group.
Facilities
Students can enjoy excellent facilities at our Whitsundays College.Students have access to their own kitchen, complete with fridge and microwaves, as well as a Student Common Room.SACE also provides students with access to computers before classes start, during breaks and after classes finish. Students have free internet access. The College is open from 8:15am - 5:00pm.The new Job Advisory Service is very popular with our students on Working Holiday Visas and Student Visas. A weekly update of jobs available in Airlie Beach & Whitsundays is posted on the student noticeboard each week.
Activity
Club SACE is a
great way to make Australian and international friends with fellow students and
teachers. It organises a range of inexpensive, fun social activities for
students both during the week and on weekends.
These include weekend trips to the Flinders Ranges, Kangaroo Island, visiting
Adelaide's beachfront cafe districts, winery visits, national parks, camping
trips, barbecues, film afternoons and many sporting activities such as tennis,
Aussie rules football and soccer.
Club SACE manages a student booking service for popular travel and holiday
trips in Adelaide and South Australia.
