Accommodation
Homestay
Do you want as much practice as possible speaking English? Staying with a Canadian host family is the best way for you to make the most of your time in Canada. It is also the most popular choice for our students. By living with a Canadian family you will have many opportunities to practice speaking English and learn about Canadian culture. Your host family will be eager to meet you and introduce you to Canadian culture. All ACCESS host families are of the highest quality. Our Homestay Co-ordinator carefully interviews and screens all host families to guarantee your safety and comfort. The ACCESS homestay program comes with various choices to suit your personal needs and budget. At ACCESS we care about our students. If you are unhappy with your homestay, we will quickly give you a new homestay for no extra charge. When you apply you can tell us what kind of family you would like.
We have many types of homestay families. Although you cannot specifically choose your family, you can tell us what kind of family you prefer. We will do our best to match you with a host that meets your preferences.
Here are some preferences you can request:
*married couple, no children
*married couple, with children
*single person
*dog or cat in house (most families in Canada have a dog and/or cat. These animals will not go in your bedroom)
*other students
One of the most important parts of homestay is spending time speaking in English with your family at meal time. Students selecting breakfast only (usually breakfast is self-serve) will not have nearly as much interaction with the family. For this reason, we recommend students select 2 or 3 meals per day.
If you like to have more independence you may prefer to live in one of Toronto's student dormitories or youth hostels. Many are located within 15 minutes of the school. Some dormitories include breakfast, however in most cases meals are not included. Usually there are shared kitchen facilities and a TV lounge. Some dormitories also have exercise facilities. Living in a student dormitory or youth hostel is a good way to meet other international and local students.
The ACCESS Condominium
For students, couples or business executives looking for a special place to stay, ACCESS has a luxury furnished condominium available for rent on a weekly basis. This one-bedroom apartment can sleep up to 4 people (double bed in bedroom and double pull-out sofa in living room). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need. Bed sheets are also provided.
*no reservation fee
*minimum 4 week stay
*CAN $500.00 / week
*1 minute walk to subway, shopping centre, supermarket
*20-minute subway ride to ACCESS
*TV, telephone, dishwasher, ensuite laundry
*exercise room
*beautiful residential neighbourhood
Apartments
Furnished apartments are available for rent. You may wish to live by yourself in an apartment or share with friends. Furnished apartments (especially when rented for periods less than one year) can be quite expensive. Often students will stay in homestay or a dormitory for their first month or two. During this time, they find their own apartment or room to rent in a house.ACCESS has a bulletin board with some apartments and rooms advertised. Many students also find apartments by looking in Toronto's newspapers.
Furnished Apartment (weekly)$500 - 650/week

Large, Modern Computer Lab
Our internet lab is modern, large, and well equipped. We have many computers for student use, so our students never have to wait to use the internet. All computers have high-speed internet, and the capabilities to type in various languages. CD-ROM’s are available for students who wish extra practice with grammar or pronunciation. The school is a “WI-FI hot-spot" so students can enjoy the convenience of surfing the net wireless with their own notebook computer from anywhere in the school.

In addition, ACCESS has a listening lab that students can use before or after school for extra listening practice. Listening materials are available on loan from the reception desk.

토론토 중심부에 위치한 작은 규모의 사설 어학원입니다. 선생님들 모두 친절하시고 반갑게 맞아주십니다. 학생들을 많이 가르쳐 본 티가 나는 것 같더군요. 물론 어느 반이냐에 따라 편차는 물론 있겠지만요.! ^^;
