When the students arrive at EC Boston, they will take a placement test to find a suitable level of instructions. However, this first placement will not be permanent, since at the end of every session students will be reevaluated and placed into different levels based on their improvement.Instructions given during the courses will be focused in five areas (grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening); and these courses will assist students to develop not only their general language skills but also their communication skills and conversational speech abilities. Accommodation
Homestay Stay with a local family. Staying with a Canadian family gives you the chance to practice your English with a real local family and experience the culture. Many students choose homestay accommodation because they enjoy the atmosphere and the feeling of support a family gives. Homestays reflect Canada's multicultural diversity as long as English is the language of the home. We inspect all of the homes and train our home families. An Accommodation Co-ordinator is available full-time at the school if you need any help. The Accommodation Coordinator monitors every homestay experience.
Student Residence Comfortable and convenient student accommodation. The single room has a large bed, desk, chair and lamp, lounge-style sitting area, kitchenette (utensils and cookware are not included) and private bathroom. Also included are a television, telephone, wardrobe, iron and ironing board, cable internet and air-conditioning. A shared unit has two separate sleeping areas with a shared kitchen (utensils and cookware are not included) and bathroom. Two students share one unit. Bedrooms are separated by a wall and locked doors. Shared units include a single bed, private workspace, desk, chair and lamp. The communal area lounge and dining area, television, telephone, iron and ironing board, cable internet, chest of drawers, wardrobe and air-conditioning. Minimum stay at this residence is 4 weeks.
Arrival: Saturday or Sunday Departure: Same weekend day
