Establishment 1965 year, LSI has many language schools across the world. You can learn English in one of our schools in England, Canada, the USA, Malta, New Zealand or Australia. We also have language centres in France and Switzerland. LSI also works with partner language schools in Spain, Italy, Russia, Mexico, Latvia, Panama and Costa Rica.All are well located, in the centre of attractive cities, close to transport links, and amenities.The language centres are fully equipped with up-to-date materials and resources in comfortable surroundings. LSI Paris is located in the historic heart of the city, close to the Louvre, the Opera and the mecca of luxury shopping, the St-Honore district. Shops, cafes and several Metro stations are nearby. Our language school is on the second floor of a beautiful eighteenth century building, providing a peaceful environment in which to study French. We run a variety of French language programmes, including DELF and TEF (Test d'Evaluation du Français) exam preparation courses. Curriculum: This 20 lesson per week program follows the same morning schedule as the ISY 30 and Intensive 30. As a mornings-only course, this is perfect for students who need integrated skill without afternoon classes. The four skills areas of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing are covered, as are grammatical structures, vocabulary, and pronunciation. This course offer beginner to advanced levels and 50 minutes, and14 Students maximum per class If you want to combine your language studies with other activities, the Standard 20 Course is the ideal programme for you. During the lessons you will learncommunication skills in a variety of everyday situations. The lessons cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and skills practice in speaking, listening, reading and writing. The International School Year Program is an excellent opportunity for students to take a long-term course learning English, immerse themselves in a new culture and make friends from all over the world. The program is offered to students with various English language levels. Upon their arrival at LSI, students are given a written test and an interview to ensure their proper placement in class. Individual course plans are designed for each student based on needs, language level and the duration of the course. Students may choose to split their program evenly between multiple LSI centers in the same country. International School Year is designed for students to improve English fluency in a variety of everyday situations. Every student receives regular academic counseling and assistance with study skills and university placement when necessary. Students may also choose to study Examination courses or, for those considering a career in business, they may choose to study the English for Business Course as part of the ISY curriculum. To complement their course and textbook work, students also participate in language-learning exercises such as role-playing, using authentic recorded material, and reading newspapers and magazines. In addition to Intensive English language training, students are encouraged to spend time outside of the classroom making friends, sightseeing, visiting colleges and universities or participating in one of LSI’s many activity programs. As an added service, LSI offers academic counseling to those students planning to enroll in a college or university following their ISY studies at LSI. Academic advisors offer students important advice as to which undergraduate courses to choose and the TOEFL score requirements, as well as arrange visits to universities and assist in completing university applications. Over the years, LSI students have been placed in many prestigious universities throughout the world.
