At the Pädagogium we are not exclusively focused on teaching academic knowledge, but we are equally concerned with teaching our students social skills and preparing them for all vital matters. They are to understand that in order to succeed and excel in life, mental ability is just as important as skills and commitment. Thus, life at the Pädagogium combines academic education with a multifaceted range of offers to work in groups enabling students to learn to assume social responsibility.

Contract cancellation:
Cancellation only possible at the end of February and August. It must be in written form.

5. Contract length and trial time: The contract is valid for indeterminate time. The first 3 months after starting the school year is are the trial months. During this time, both parties can cancel the contract at anytime for cancellation by the end of the trial period through a written letter. The trial period can also be extented for further 3 months. If the contract is cancelled during the trial period and the children lives the school before the end of the trial period, and if the Paedagogium is not responsible for it, the school and boarding cost must be paid till the end of the trial period. The cost will 20 % discounted starting the next month, after the leaving of the student.
Example: If the student started school in August 2019 and want to leaves in October 2019.Then he is still in the trial period. That means he pays till october the total monthly cost. And the last payment is the November 2019 which is the end of the trial period and this month will be discounted by 20%.. So the student will get 22.500 Euro back.
6. General cancellation period: Outside the trial period, the contract can be cancelled 3 months before school year quarter end, that means on 31.July,31.October,31.January and 30.April. The cancellation must be written and be at the school by the 3rd day of May,August,November or February. If the student leaves the school before the above dates, the school and boarding fees must be paid till the aboves that. The cost will be discounted by 20 % starting the next month after the student leaves the school.Example: If the student leaves the school in February. The cost will be 20 % discounted starting March. And they must be paid till April.

Surrounding Area
Near the university town of Goettingen, right in the mountains of the Harz in the very center of Germany.
For winter sport enthusiasts, Bad Sachsa has a lot to offer. The ice-skating rink in the Salztal Paradise is open all year, where you can do ice skating, ice dancing, ice hockey and curling. Mount Ravensberg (659 m) is a little alpine sports ski paradise. With a 4.000 meter long downhill route network, over a total of nine runs, three ski lifts and a snowboard park, with extra jumps and ramps, ski lovers will have great fun. You will also find several cross-country ski trails in and around Bad Sachsa, which makes the town a popular destination for winter athletes.

Location
Getting to the school from the airport
From the Frankfurt Airport you need to take the ICE towards Frankfurt hbf and transfer at Frankfurt hbf to ICE70. After that you must transfer one more time at Goettingen to RB 80.
Then from the Bad Sachsa Bahnhof take the Bus number 470 towards Bad Sachsa Am Kurpark. Get of at the station Bad Sachsa Am Kurpark and walk 5minutes until you arrive at the school.

선생님들이 다들 친절하시고 내신 시험들이 난이도가 있어서 아비투어 시험이 오히려 쉬웠어요. 시험후 저는 뮌헨공대에 무난히 합격했어요 저는 막판에 조금 루즈해져서 기대했던 만큼 잘 보진 못했지만 노력하면 더 좋은 성적 받을 수 있었을 것 같아요.
발표 점수를 잘 받으려면 초반 첫인상이 진짜 중요해요. 유학생들 중에 중국 애들이 90% 인데 발표를 특히 더 어려워 하는 애들이 많아서 선생님들 머릿속에 “아시아 애들은 발표를 안해” 라는게 박혀있는 것 같았어요! 선생님들 기억에 남을 수 있도록 최대한 많이 발표하려고 노력했던 것 같아요.
기숙사 사감 선생님들은 친절하셨지만 생각보다 터치가 굉장히 많으셨어요. 밥 먹는 것도 의무였어요. 안 먹고 싶어도 식당 가서 앉아있어야 했어요. 열정은 있으셨지만 애들에 대한 애정은 없으셨던 것 같아요…ㅜㅜ 그래도 나쁜 길로 빠지지 않게 잘 지도해주셨어요.
Bad Sachsa 도시가 많이 작아서 할 것도 없지만 공기가 너무 좋습니다. 다른 도시로 가기도 어렵지만 그래도 있을 건 다 있어요. 독일 애들이 먼저 다가오는 애들이 별로 없어서 친구들을 만드는게 처음엔 어려울 수 있지만 용기내서 친해지면 다들 순수하고 착해서 외롭지 않게 잘 지낼 수 있을거예요.캠브리지 영어 선생님 정말 좋았어요! 수업이 아닐 때도 친절하게 가르쳐주셨어요. 캠브리지 수업은 영어를 정말 배운다는 느낌보다는 시험을 위한 학습지를 푸는 느낌이 강했어요.
방과후 액티비티 활동은 따로 하지 않았고 11학년까지 기숙사 액티비티 활동은 저 뿐 아니라 다른 애들도 하고 싶어서 하는게 아니라 의무라서 할 때가 많았어요.
