With over 45 years experience as an international language provider, teaching German as a foreign language has always had an important focus in the work of Carl Duisberg Centren. The German Language Courses are offered in Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Radolfzell on Lake Constance. At the Carl Duisberg Training Centers students will be taught by experienced trainers, who all have a university degree. In lessons great emphasis is put on training communication skills. The learning progress is measured according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Prior to the start of the course students' actual language ability will be assessed by a placement test. On course completion they will receive an official certificate of attendance. At various stages of the course program, students can have their improvement documented by taking the internationally recognized telc examinations. Naturally, at the four Carl Duisberg Training Centers, a media resource center with a multitude of teaching materials is available. This also includes computer learning programs for self study. Students will receive all books and materials used in the lessons free of charge which can then be kept at the end of the course. Additionally, there are no extra costs for registration, placement test and weekly interim tests. For those who decide to learn a foreign language in the country where it is spoken, they will also get to know the culture, customs and ways of its inhabitants. The same applies to the language course in Germany.

Changing a booking
All other booking changes are possible up to 2 weeks before the course begins for a processing fee of €50.
Right to cancellation
For cancellations up to 31 days before the course starts, a processing fee of €150 will be charged. For cancellations up to 15 days before the course starts,the cancellation fee is 30% of the total course fee (including the costs for accommodation and other services) or €150, whichever is greater. For cancellations within 14 days before the course starts, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total course fee (including the costs for accommodation and other services)or 150, whichever is greater.
Accommodation
Carl Duisberg carefully selects and regularly reviews the host families and private lodgings they recommend. All of the host families and private lodgings can be reached from the Carl Duisberg Training Center in 30-60 minutes using public transportation. This form of lodging, particularly with board, is an ideal way to really dive deep into German culture.
Guest House The Carl Duisberg Training Center Munich has a guest house of its own with 124 beds. There, modestly appointed single rooms and commons rooms are located on six floors.

The best way to learn a foreign language is to use it in daily life. Carl Duisberg Centren offers students a wide range of ways to get to know their host country and to apply the German that they have learned. With the leisure time offers they will meet with the other participants from the school in the evening and on the weekend. Students will learn all about the sights and the culture of their chosen location. Together with their German teachers and the other members of their course, they can use what they have learned in class in real life. Students will be astonished to see how quickly they will be able to make themselves understood in German.

CDC 뮌헨에서 48주 코스를 수강하고있습니다.
주거단지 안에 있어서 조용하고 치안도 괜찮습니다. 학원의 리셉션 직원도 매우 친절하고 하나하나 자세하게 잘 설명해줍니다. 궁금한 부분이나 문제가 있을 시 얘기하면 잘 처리해줍니다.
독일어 선생님들은 다 여자분들시이며 열정적이고 재미있게 수업해주셔서 매우 만족하고있습니다. 수업은 월요일은 9:45~13:00, 화~금요일은 8:30~13:00까지 진행하고 있으며, 오후에 별도 참석 희망자에 한해 별도 문법보충수업을 하고 있습니다. 저는 A1부터 시작하고 있고 수업 만족도도 좋아서 잘 배우고있습니다. 현재 A1는 4명이서 수업하고 있어소수라 좋습니다. 상급반은 10명내외로 수업을 진행 하고 있고, 국적비율은 튀지니, 러시아, 중국, 일본, 브라질, 아르헨티나 등 다국적이고 한국인은 5명정도 있는것 같습니다.
숙소는 기숙사, 홈스테이 등으로 이루어져있습니다. 저는 CDC의 기숙사를 이용하고있는데 학원과 붙어있어서 통학하는 시간이나 비용이 절감되서 좋습니다. 건물은 오래되긴 하였지만 청소나 관리가 잘 되고 있는것 같아서 상당히 깔끔합니다. 매일 공용주방과 화장실을 청소하시는 분이 계시고 매주 화요일마다 방의 쓰레기통과 바닥을 청소해주십니다. 지하에 빨래를 할 수 있는 세탁기와 건조기가 구비되어있습니다.
1인실을 쓰고있으며 방안에 책상, 옷장, 침대, 냉장고, 서랍장, 여분의 선반 등이 있고, 세면대가 있습니다. 음식을 만들어 먹을 때 쓸 냄비, 컵, 접시, 포크, 숫가락 등도 구비되어있습니다. 별도의 조리도구(칼, 도마,)등은 제가 별도로 구매해서 쓰고있습니다.
근처에 큰 마트들이 다 있고 운동 할 수 있는 체육관과 헬스장도 있습니다. 뮌헨중앙역은 트램을 타면 7분정도 소요되고 아시안마트도 곳곳에 있습니다. 저는 중고샵에 가서 자전거를 사서 마트나 이동 할 때 이용하고 있습니다. 자전거도로가 상당히 잘 되어있어서 편리하게 이용하고 있습니다. 금요일, 토요일에 야외활동하는 프로그램이 있습니다. 아직 이용하진 않았지만 매주 진행되고있습니다.
반신반의하면서 걱정했지만 전체적으로 만족스럽고 면학분위기도 잘 형성되어 다들 열심히하는 분위기입니다. 공항에서 CDC까지 오는 방법은 여러가지지만 저는 픽업서비스를 이용하였습니다. 택시를 타고오는거와 픽업서비스를 받는 비용이 크게 차이나지 않을 뿐더러 저녁에 도착하기 때문에 안전과 여러모로 따져보면 픽업받았던게 괜찮았던것 같습니다. 숙소는 기숙사를 이용하고있는데 통학시간과 차비를 절감 할 수 있고, 기숙사에 있어서 학생들과 친해지기도 빠르고 쉽습니다.
어학원을 선택하기 매우 신중에 신중을 기울였었는데 최미선원장님께서 아주 친절하고 자세하게 비자발급부터 학원등록과 보험가입까지 진행에 도움주시고 밤낮 안가리고 상담도 해주셔서 매우 감사하단 말씀 드리고싶습니다. 어학원, 유학원에 고민 많으신 다른분들께도 적극 추천드립니다.
