Since established in the year 2000, A lot of international students have been offered the chance by Privatschulen Villa Elisabeth to attend our Gymnasium Villa Elisabeth in Wildau. More than 100 students from a wide array of countries, such as China, Indonesia, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Brazil, Mexico and US, have successfully attended the school for the last 15 years. The school's international orientation can be seen in the many different languages it offers through their academic curriculum and extra-curricular activities.

Focus of Study : Students from abroad can choose between one or two semesters to attend our Gymnasium program designed not only to improve their German Language proficiency but to get some ideas about the German education system and how it's like on a day-to-day basis.
For those who want to pass the German Abitur examinations, we offer a special program which starts either in class 9 or class 10 depending on the applicant's age and knowledge of German. If the Abitur examnations at the end of class 12 have successfully been passed, international students can apply for German or any European universities(as the language of instruction at higher education is German, the applicant's level of German should be at B2-level or above)
Curriculum : In high school, Students get to choose their weekly instruction of their own will, such as the linguistic course in one week, the science education in another.
Classroom Hour :
School starts at 8:30 am and ends depending on the grade at 15:00 or 16:40.
Fridays are usually reserved for extracurricular activities or tests or projects depending on the grade and class. On Fridays, classes usually finish at 13:30.

Accommodation
Students from grade 9 onwards can stay at the boarding house of the school. They will live in a modern double room with privat bathroom. Each student has a own desk. They can use the internet in the room or in the computer rooms. Through that the international students can keep in touch with their family and friends. The boarding house is close to Dahme, where the students can do a variety of sort and free time activity such as sailing, swimming, jogging and so on.
Surrounding Area
Wildau is a German municipality of the state of Brandenburg, located in the district of Dahme-Spreewald. It is located close to Berlin and easily reached by the S-Bahn. In the region around Wildau, numerous technology and business parks have been set up in recent years, with service industries, logistics centers, as well as energy and environmental technology companies. An engineering school founded in 1949, was an integral part of mechanical engineering in the region before 1990. In 1991 the federal state of Brandenburg founded the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau. In 2013 Wildau acquired the title of city and now is one of 113 other such small cities in Brandenburg.

Location
Getting to the school from the airport
From the Airport Tegel Berlin Bus station take the Bus towards S+U Hauptbahnhof and get off at Beusselstrasse. From there transfer to the Sbahn towards Ringbahn and get off at Wildau. From there it's only a 6 minutes walk to school.
