The Willibald High School (short: WG ) is a high school in Eichstätt .The school is named after St. Willibald , who lived in Eichstätt since 740. Until 1965 the school was called "Gymnasium mit Oberrealschule ", then from 1965 it was called "Willibald-Gymnasium", after the Episcopal Seminary Collegium Willibaldinum , from which it originated.

Accommodation
The students from Willibald Gymnasiu, live in the boarding house of Gabrieli-Gymnasium. The students usually live in pairs, rarely three in a room, separated by gender. Single rooms are available for the upper level. On each floor there are washrooms, showers and toilets as well as a small tea kitchen.
Surrounding Area
Eichstätt is a town in the federal state of Bavaria, Germany, and capital of the district of Eichstätt. It is located on the Altmühl river and has a population of around 13,000. Eichstätt is also the place of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Eichstätt. The town is dominated by the Willibaldsburg. Besides the cathedral, Eichstätt also sports numerous churches and monasteries.
Facilities
The boarding house has a catering service. Everyone can choose what they like from the buffet: soup, salad, main course and as dessert, fresh fruit, yoghurt or a small sweet. Our cook Mr. Männel and his staff cook every day with fresh products from the region for around 150 people. In this way, they ensure healthy and tasty food.
Activity
A wide range of leisure activities is available to all residents: The pupils can let off steam with sports activities - various ball games, badminton, billiards, table tennis or fitness training. For this we use e.g. B. in the evening also the school sports hall. Those interested in handicrafts can practice in the well-equipped boarding workshop. Artistic projects complement the offer of the artistic high school. Those who like to read a book in their free time browse the boarding school library. But there is also enough opportunity to watch a film or relax.

Getting to the school from the airport
Take the Sbahn towards Muenchen Leuchtenbergring from Muenchen airport and transfer at Laim to the Sbahn towards Altomuenster and get off at Dachau. From Dachau take the train towards Treuchtlingen and transfer at Eichstaett Bahnhof to the train towards Eichstaett Stadt and get of at Eichstaett Stadt. From there it's a 21minutes walk to the school.
