We are an all-day school : In grades 7 to 9, lessons are given in a deliberately rhythmic manner three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) from 7:45 a.m. to 4:25 p.m. Lunch in our school kitchen and an hour of free time in between ensure physical and mental well-being, while homework times ensure that after school you don't study until late at night. We have special profiles: When entering class 7, you have to decide whether you want to major in sports or music. Accordingly, one attends the "sports class" or the "music class" with additional lessons and AGs in the respective subject. Music or physics are profile subjects in 11c, French can be started afresh. In the 11g, sport is a profile subject, but French must have been taken in the intermediate level here.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SPORTS PROFILE AT THE STATE SECONDARY SCHOOL Sports train from class 7 (with fencing profile) Four sports practice hours per week One sports theory lesson per week Swimming lessons in the pool without the presence of other schools Cooperation with the fencing club Würth
MUSIC PROFILE IN GRADES 7-11 Those who choose the music profile of the school have five hours of music per week in class 7, which are broken down as follows: four hours of music lessons, including a choir lesson with voice training units in the class and an individual lesson in instrumental or singing lessons. Music is then considered a core subject relevant for promotion. From class 8, the choir lesson in the class group is replaced by participation in the large school choir. In addition, participation in musical working groups, such as string or percussion groups, is expected. From class 11 there is the possibility to choose the music profile when entering school and thus to be prepared for the course level. |
