The Gymnasium Hohenschwangau concentrates on Natural science & Technology and Langugae studies. the students can learn English, Latin, French and Italian.
Thet have prepared a lot of programs for the students. They are certificate programs and programs for students, who have talent for science. And also students who have skills in ski and ice skating will get special care.
Focus of Study : Focusing on passing the Abitur exam, which is necessary for university entrance.
Benefit, Goal of this course :
Curriculum : Grade 5 -13, which prepares for Abitur and has the following subjects: German, 2nd foreign language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History, Geography, Economy, Religion, Ethics, music, art, theater, physical education and so on.
Staring grade 5 they start to learn English as first foreign language. In grade 6 they start with the 2nd foreign language and the students can choose between Latin and French.
Students who choose to study French, they need to take the natuaral science&technology course and students who chose Latin, they can chose between natuaral science&technology and language studies. The decision must be made at teh end of grade 7. At the end of grade 9 the 2nd foreign language will be replaced by Italian. You can choose one more language during grade 11 and 12(English,Latin or French). The foreign language course students will study french as their 3rd language starting grade 8, 4 hours a week. And start chemistry in grade 9. Students who chose the natural science&technology course will start chemistry in grade 8 and will have 3 hours a week chemistry. In grade nine computer science will be added and will be teached 2 hours per week. There will be no 3rd foreign language.

Accommodation
The boarding house of Hohenschwangau is incuded. In the fee of 5700 Euro, meal and accommodation is included.
Currently the school has about 750 students and about 100 students live in the boarding hous. The boarding house is inside the school premises. And it is close to sport court and cafeteria. It is also close to the famous sightseeing place Schloss Neuschwannstein. The students are supervised by the house mentors and cared by the teachers.
Activity
The school prapared various activities for the students. For example: Ice skating, Ski training, Female ice skating, climbing, shopping, christmas party and so on.
Location
Getting to the school from the airport
From the Muenchen Airport station Besucherpark take the S8 towards Herrsching and transfer at the Muenchen Hauptbahnhof to the train BRD RB68 towards Fuessen. Get off at Fuessen and from Fuessen take a taxi to the school and it takes 7 minutes(3.8km).
바드슈센리드 훔볼트
저는 14살에 바드슈센리드 훔볼트에서 독일어를 약 6개월을 거쳐 A1과정부터 B2.2과정까지 하였습니다.
그곳에서는 매 5주마다 레벨테스트를 통하여 유급또는 다음레벨로의 진학이 결정되며,
또한 매주마다 쪽지시험 형태의 시험을 통해 본인의 실력을 체크할 수 있습니다.
독일학교를 들어가기 위해 필요한 B2(레벨) 까지는 정상적으로 25주가 소요됩니다.
저는 다행히 25주만에 유급을 하지 않고 통과를 하였지만, 그러기 위해서는 열심히 해야 합니다.
기숙사는 보통 2인1실이며, 운이 좋을 경우, 1인실을 사용할 수 있습니다.
기숙사는 보통 2인실인 경우, 이층 침대가 있으며,
방안에 발코니와 샤워부스가 있는 화장실이 있습니다.
또한 기숙사와 어학원 시설은 매우 깔끔하며,
또한 방은 매일 청소부 아주머니들이 오셔서 침구류와 방을 정리해주셔서 항상 유지가 잘 됩니다.
빨래는 매주 한번 청소부 아주머니들이 옷들을 수거해가셔서 건조까지 마친 후 가져다 주십니다.
음식은 하루 3끼모두 뷔페식으로 나오며, 본인이 원하는 만큼 식사를 할 수 있으며,
음식의 맛도 좋습니다.
그리고 이 어학원에서는 나이에 따라 만 14세를 기준으로 어린이와 청소년이 구분이 되는데,
그에 따라 그 두 그룹의 취침시간이 다르며, 시내를 나갈때나 소풍을 갈때 어린이인 경우에는,
항상 사감선생님이 동행을 하셔야 하므로, 나이가 어릴때 어학원을 가도 관리가 잘 됩니다.
또한 독일어 수업 후 다양한 액티비티 활동들이 있어서 시간을 알차게 보낼 수 있습니다.
액티비티 활동의 예로는 (실내(야외)수영장에서의 수영,사우나,요리,스포츠)등이 있으며,
매주 수요일날에는 오전에만 독일어를 공부하고 오후에는 근교의 관광지로 놀러갑니다.
또한 매주 토요일에도 반나절동안 어학원 근교도시로(뮌헨,울름,린다우,캠텐) 갑니다.
또한 그곳에 계신 사감선생님들과 선생님들은 거의 다 친절하시며,
무슨문제나 도움이 필요할때마다 항상 친절히 도와주십니다.
그렇지만 제가 그곳에서 느낀 단점은 바로 사람들이 성수기(여름)에 너무 많다는 것 입니다.
성수기에는 어학생뿐만이 아니라,
유럽의 다른나라학교에서 이 어학원을 수학여행식으로 약 1주일 동안 머물렀다 가기도 합니다.
비록 사람이 많아서 조금 혼잡할때가 있었지만,
이 기회로 인해 여러나라에서 온 친구들을 사귈수 있었던 기회가 있어서 좋았습니다.
저는 독일유학을 계획하시는 분들에게 이 어학원을 추천합니다!
저는 지금 이 학교에 7학년으로 재학중인 학생입니다.
이 학교는 독일 남부에 있는 퓌센이라는 지역에 위치하였으며,
독일 하면 바로 떠오르는 관광지중 하나인 노이슈반슈타인 성 바로 옆에 있는 학교입니다.
제가 다니는 7학년의 경우에는 일주일에 오후수업이 단 한번 있고,
오후수업이 있는 날에는 학교가 3시35분에 끝나며, 없는 날에는 12시 35분이면 수업이 끝납니다.
학교에 계신 선생님들은 모두 친절하시며,
제가 문제나 어떤 질문이 있을 때 마다 항상 친절히 도와주십니다.
학교에서의 수업은 한국과는 다르게 학생들이 발표를 많이 합니다.
또한 학생들이 선생님이 가르쳐주시는 정보들이 이해가 안되거나 그 정보가 틀리다고 생각할때는
부담없이 선생님에게 이의를 제기하는 경우가 많으며,
또한 선생님도 그 이의를 무시하지 않으시고, 친절히 답변 해주십니다.
학교에서는 아이들에게 공부가 지루하게 느껴지지 않도록 1년에 1번씩은 본인 학년에 따른 체험활동을 합니다.
예를 들어 7학년인 저는 이번 겨울에 1주일동안 오스트리아로 스키캠프를 갔다왔습니다.
그리고 제가 처음에 학교에 입학을 할때,
친구가 쉽게 생기지 않을까봐 걱정을 많이 하였으나,
다행히 입학 첫날에 혼자 자리에 앉아 있으니,
독일인 친구들이 먼저 다가와 말을 걸며 저에게 먼저 친근하게 대해주었습니다.
또한 학교와 기숙사의 거리가 매우 가까워 도보로 1-2분이면 하교까지 갈수 있으며,.
기숙사에서는 매일 3끼가 제공이 되며, 또한 음식의 질 도 좋습니다.
하지만 가끔씩 일요일에는 아침식사와 점심식사 대신 브런치가 제공 되기도 합니다.
기숙사의 특별한 점은 바로 사감선생님이 매일 다르다는 점 입니다.
기숙사의 사감은 매일 다른 학교선생님들이 하십니다.
그리고 월요일부터 목요일까지는 학교가 끝나고 자습시간이 있으며,
본인 학년에 따른 필수시간을 해야 합니다.
자습시간에도 매일 다른 과목의 선생님들이 오셔서 어려운 부분들을 도와주십니다.
기숙사에서의 생활은 특별한 액티비티 프로그램이 없으며,
일주일에 2-3번 체육관이 열리며, 가끔씩 주말에는 소풍을 갑니다.
기숙사에서는 학교가 공립학교이다 보니 외국인 학생비율이 적으며, 많은 독일인들이 기숙사에 많이 거주 합니다.
또한 학교에서 시내가 매우 가까워 가끔씩 버스를 타고 시내에 놀러가기도 합니다.
