The private school Conventz GbR is a state-recognized secondary school in Nordrhein-Westfalen: -teached according the curriculum of Nordrhein-Westfalen -Final examination after class 10 and 13 -funded without the help of the government The goal of Privatschule Conventz is not only the final examination, also equipting for Ausbildung and University. Since 2004 the team of Privatschool Conventz teaches the students in the 1927 build monastery in Roetgen. The class rooms were renovated in 2010. The school has 5.000qm land, where they can teach. The class rooms are equipted with modern technology.

The boarding house of Privatschule Conventz was opened in 2017. From the beginning Privatschule Conventz helped students from different cultural background with their graduation. Since the school got a lot of enquires from outside of the city and country, the boarding house was established in 2017/2018.  Like the school the boarding house also takes students from grade 5 onwards from different cultural backgrounds. The boarding students will live in an international environment. The boarding house is located 500 meter by foot from the school. Also different kind of shops are reachable within 5minutes by foot.  The boarding house offers: -generous, bright one- and two rooms with balcony or terrace.  -big common rooms -cheap transportation to the Eifel and to Aachen -shopping possibilities close by -near the school -near the sports club -easy access to weekend activities

Facilities

Activity

The school plans day and weekend trips and also class trips. The wishes of students are considered. The highlights are the Trekking Tour and the students exchange with south africa, which is popular  under our students. We can go on spontaneous trips, since our class is small. We also take europe trips often.

Location

Getting to the school from the airport

Take the SBahn(S11) from the Duesseldorf airport towards Bergisch Gladbach and transfer at Neuss Hbf toRE towards Aachen Hbf. And at the Aachen Hbf you need to take the SB63 bus towards Simmerath,Bushof and get of at Roetgen Bahnhof. The school is located  only 5min from Roetgen Station by foot.
