The Markgräfin-Wilhelmine-Gymnasium was established in 1896 as an royal study institute.Today the school has all the necessary facilities and rooms,which allows a punctual class and attractive school life.
The Park in front of the school is used as school yard, which is used during the break times and the outside stairs are used as stage for special events.
Must have a grade average of 2.0 (according the German point system. Thats a GPA of 3.0. Application possible every school year and semester.

Accommodation
The boarding house is in a modern building. The rooms are on 3 floors and every room is really bright. The students live in single or double rooms, depending on their age. Every floor has an common room, which is decorated with love. All the rooms have a washing area. Showers and toilets are on every floor, enough for all the students. The common rooms are cleaned by professional cleaners every day. The rooms must be cleaned by the students. Every thursday is cleaning day!
Facilities
Since more than 10years we have the school cafe blu. Teachers,parents and srudents together prepare healthy vegetarian lunch. The menues start from 1Euro.

Location
Getting to the school from the airport
Take the Sbahn towards Muenchen Ost at the Muenchen Airport and get off at the Muenchen Central station. From there take the ICE towards Dortmund Hauptbahnhof and transfer at the Nuernberg Central station. From there you need to take the RE train towards Bayreuth Hauptbahnhof. Get off at the Bayreuth Hbf and take the Bus 316 towards Bayreuth Geowissenschaften and get off at BAyreuth Duerschnitz station. From there its only a 7 min walk to the school.
