Kästner Kolleg Language SchoolAbout the
Kästner Kolleg was founded in 1998, and has evolved into a modern, middle-sized language school belonging to the leaders in language training in Dresden. This institute is a non-profit organization whose members participate in the decision-making process of the school. Kästner Kolleg offers personal and friendly alternative to the production like approach of large schools and institutions. The satisfaction of the course participants can be summed up in a simple formula: "highest teaching standards + service + fun = fast successful learning." All of the teachers are native German speakers with university degrees, and they are specialists in teaching German as a Foreign Language. TANDEM-DRESDEN would like to become students' home away from home for an unforgettable time. Thanks to the friendliness and warm hospitality of its people, it is easy to make new friends here - and of course learn year round German quickly by just speaking it all the time. And with additional field trips and creative learning projects like “German in the City,” the school brings students closer to the German language, people and culture.
This program is the right choice if you want to learn general German in a systematic and reliable way. No matter if you are a beginner in the German language or have already had German lessons.
