In the west of Freiburg, on campus of the technical faculty of the University, the student dorms Campus I - IV are located. The trainline "Breisgau S-Bahn" stops directly on campus and needs only 3 minutes to the main trainstation in Freiburg. By bike it takes around 20 minutes to get into the city center. Around 500 students live here in single apartments and flat-sharing communities. Eight apartments are equipped for students with different types of disabilities. Our student village "Studentensiedlung am Seepark" is located in the west of Freiburg and with around 1.800 students our biggest student village in town. Here we are offering a number of different types of apartments and flat-sharing communities, from 2 to 8 students or up to 12 students on the same floor with common kitchen and sanitary facilities. For families, who submit a "Wohnberechtigungsschein" from Baden-Württemberg we have a number of 2- and 3-room flats in our houses no 10 and 12. In addition we offer a small number of flats in house no 30, 52 and no 54. Most parts of the Studentensiedlung has been inaugurated in the 1960s but all of them are renovated lately. All rooms have internet access and from some of the buildings you have an awesome view over the park and the lake. In the next years the "Studentensiedlung" will be further expanded, for example the buildings No. 74 A, B and C and other new houses. The "StuSie-Bar" is legendary and the vast number of leisure and sport facilities is a welcome change to the studies. By bike or by tram the city center is reachable within 10 minutes. Capacity

Quiet but still centrally located is our student village "Stühlinger" in the likewise named district of Freiburg. The multicultural and lively district is only 10 walking minutes away from the main trainstation. The dormitory Händelstrasse is located in the district Herdern. The building with the historically protected bell Tower was used to host railway workers and later as an orphanage. In our days students live in flat-shared communies with 2 to 10 people and in single apartments. Behind house no. 20 are two new and modern buildings (Händelstrasse 18 A and 18 b). Practice rooms for musicians, a café, enough area for activities provide the necessary balance. The idyllic location and atmosphere makes this dorm so popular for all students in Freiburg. When you find a district in the "Green City Freiburg", which is even more green than the others, you probably arrived in the district Vauban. The Student village, named after the famous French builder of the 17th century, Sébastien de Vauban, consists of six renovated former barrack buildings and some new buildings, surrounded by lush greenery and ancient trees. Our dormitory in Kunzenweg is directly on the campus of the College of Education (Pädagogische Hochschule) in the district Littenweiler, right at the beginning of the Black Forest and the Dreisam valley (Dreisamtal).
