The Goethe-Institut is the official cultural
institute of the Federal Republic of Germany since 1951 and has a network of
136 Goethe-Instituts and 11 liaison offices in 93 countries, 750 cooperative
partners around the world and 13 Goethe-Instituts in Germany at the moment.
There are 185.000 language students per year learning German at one of the
Goethe-Instituts worldwide. Each year approximately 32,000 course participants
from all over the world appreciate the high-quality, systematic and
wide-ranging program of German courses at 13 locations in Germany. The exciting
cultural and leisure program guarantee a smooth start and rapid integration
into daily life in Germany. Clients may also choose whether to stay in a
private accommodation or in the guesthouses.The Goethe-Institut is the Federal
Republic of Germany’s cultural institution
operational worldwide. The institute promotes the study of German abroad and
encourages international cultural exchange. They also foster knowledge about

Accommodation
Private accommodation: The room is furnished with basic and functional furniture, and bed linen and towels are provided. Students will use bathroom and kitchen with other students. The accommodation is located within the city.
Apartments: On request the school can book students an apartment with separate bathroom and kitchen. Price: From €590 per month
Surrounding Area
The Goethe-Institut Düsseldorf is located in a modern building right at the railway station near the Konrad-Adenauer-Platz exit. This is also an ideal starting point for the course participants to visit destinations all over the Rhine-Ruhr region.
Facilities
Goethe Institut Düsseldorf has nine well-equipped classrooms, a media resource center, WLAN service, a common room and a piano.
Activity
All students can participate in day trips and weekend excursions, city walking tour and guided tours, visit to museums and exhibitions, theater performances, concerts and opera, company and university tours, film nights at the institute, sports programs, parties, social encounters and pub nights.

If you wish to study in Germany after completing your language course, please indicate this intention in your visa application.
For a visa application you will need (among other things):
the final confirmation from the Goethe-Institut that you have paid for your course in full (this confirmation is equivalent to the "Invitation" required by the embassy)
confirmation that you have taken out health insurance and accident insurance valid in Germany. Please note the following:
