The Goethe-Institut is the official cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany since 1951 and has a network of 136 Goethe-Instituts and 11 liaison offices in 93 countries, 750 cooperative partners around the world and 13 Goethe-Instituts in Germany at the moment. There are 185.000 language students per year learning German at one of the Goethe-Instituts worldwide. Each year approximately 32,000 course participants from all over the world appreciate the high-quality, systematic and wide-ranging program of German courses at 13 locations in Germany. Accommodation
Students can live in a single room or a double room in the guesthouses in Wilhelm-Meister-Weg and at the Josenturm. The rooms are furnished, and bed linen and towels are provided. Students will share kitchen and bathroom with 2 to 3 people. Internet is connected and students have access to washing facilities. The accommodations are located 3 - 5 minutes' walk from the institute.
Surrounding Area
The Goethe-Institut Schwäbisch Hall is centrally located in the town's romantic city center. It is housed in a spacious historical building with modern rooms and facilities, immediately adjacent to the Schwäbisch University of Applied Sciences. The institute's guesthouses are very close by.
Facilities
Students have access to 10 well-equipped classrooms, media resource center, WLAN, cafeteria offering breakfast and lunch, common room, party room, grand and upright piano, rental bicycles and historical courtyard.
Activity
All students can participate in day trips and weekend excursions, city walking tour and guided tours, visit to museums and exhibitions, theater performances, concerts and opera, company and university tours, film nights at the institute, sports programs, parties, social encounters and pub nights.
