Accommodation
Students can choose to live with a host family or in a standard apartment during their stay. The host families are specially chosen and allow students the opportunity to absorb the German culture as well as the language as it is used in a natural environment. Standard apartments offer students a comfortable place to reflect on the days' activities while still giving them ample time to enjoy the company of fellow students.
Surrounding Area
Düsseldorf is located on the banks of the River Rhine, in the northwest of Germany. Dating back to 1159, the capital of Northrhine-Westfalia is a flourishing commercial centre and the fashion capital of Germany. It is also famous for producing glass, textiles and boasts Germany’s first skyscraper, the Wilhelm-Marx-Haus, built in 1924. The city is home to several museums and the library holds a collection of works by the poet Heinrich Heine.
