I am an undergraduate, who majored in Japanese language and culture. I studied Japanese for 2 years, but I wasn’t able to pass JLPT N1. I wanted to get a job, but it requires a high level of speaking, so I decided to go to Japan for a language course. I had to prepare for official Japanese language exam and also had to improve in my speaking. So I attended Kudan Japanese institution’s General Japanese course. It was from 1:00~5:00, so rest of the time was free. The class consists of reading, writing, speaking and listening. It was helpful for me to prepare for the exam later. I also had many foreigner friends. There were guys from America, Europe and other countries, so the class was just so fun for me. There were times for us to interact with Japanese people, which gave me a time to get along with Japanese friends too. I was going to apply for homestay, but since I had many friends around school, I decided to live in a dormitory. So we studied together, hanged around Tokyo and travelled together too. The school was near the city area, so attending school was convenient, and Sibuya and Sinjuku were near, which was excellent for me too. I think the location of this institution is the best among the all language institutions around town. Now I have come back to Korea and I passed JLPT N1 and working on my way to get a career!
