Shared flat Students could stay with several international students in a shared flat, with a shared bathroom and kitchen. This type of flat share follows the concept of communicative learning. As a result, students would have the opportunity to practice what they learned in class when talking to other language students.
An overview of the apartments’ facilities: Single and double rooms, Shared use of kitchen, bathroom and possibly common rooms, Bed linen and towels are provided, Breakfast, half board and full board are not included in the price, but can be booked additionally at extra charge. The Sprachcaffe Club facility offers students the opportunity to have their meals in the restaurant, or they can use the fully fitted kitchen that is available. While staying in one of the apartments in the Club Village students can also use its facilities: Washing machine and dryer (for a small fee), Shared TV and billiard rooms, Internet and WLAN (for a small fee) The school offers Standard and Comfort apartments, which differ in their facilities, location and cleaning service.
Standard apartments Up to 6 students live in the furnished Standard apartments. All rooms have a fan. Participants are responsible for the basic cleaning of their apartment; however a cleaning service also comes once a week. The Standard apartments are located in Club Village, however, in the high season it is possible that apartments may be provided which are about 10-15 minutes’ walk away from the Club Village.
Comfort apartments The Comfort apartments are equipped to a higher standard than the Standard apartments. Normally, up to 6 students live together in these apartments, and they share the bathroom as well as the fully equipped kitchen. Comfort apartments are located solely in the Club Village and have air conditioning and a telephone. A cleaning service comes to the apartments twice a week.
Students can book a single or double studio, and each private apartment has a bathroom and kitchenette., An overview of the facilities: Single and double rooms, Private bathroom and kitchenette, Facilities for the disabled, Cleaning once a week, Telephone Breakfast, half board and full board are not included in the price, but can be booked at extra charge. The Sprachcaffe Club facility offers students the opportunity to have their meals in the restaurant, or they can use a kitchenette.
If they choose to stay with a Maltese homestay they will have the opportunity to practice what they learned in their language classes. As a result, any fears they had about communicating in the language will soon fade away and they will find themselves speaking English every day, both during and after class. Students can book a single or double room with the homestay (although in the high season single rooms are not available). The price includes half board, consisting of breakfast and dinner. While staying with a homestay they can get to know Maltese food and the way it is prepared. Maltese cuisine is characterized by Mediterranean influences; breakfast corresponds to the “continental breakfast”, with toast, butter, jam and tea. Dinner is the main meal for the Maltese.All of our homestays live in the vicinity of the language school in St. Julian’s, meaning that students normally have a walk of up to 20 minutes to get to the language school. It isn’t necessary to take the bus.

The Sprachcaffe school is situated in the picturesque town of St. Julian’s, near the Maltese capital, Valletta. The former fishing village is characterized by pretty houses and small, colorful fishing boats. It attracts tourists from many locations and is also a popular destination for Maltese people. The English school is contained in an impressive stone building with Greek-style architecture. The school is located in a quiet part of St. Julian’s Bay, but is near the nightlife district of Paceville. An estimated number of 350 bars, clubs and pubs are located there – the Maltese nightlife thus offers something to suit everyone.
