Language Schools New Zealand was established in 1993 and is located in Queenstown. Our major points of difference are our excellent nationality mixture (we receive students from over 20 countries every year) and our very strong activities focus. We offer weekend and mid week activities, pub nights, parties and free activities like soccer and yoga. We offer excellent English courses, have great staff, student counsellors, and homestay families and very central locations.Quality English courses approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority and audited to strict English New Zealand standards. The Queenstown school received the government Tradenz Export Commendation award in 1998.
Curriculum: Morning lessons concentrate on grammatical correctness, vocabulary, speaking and listening skills as well as reading and writing. Many texts are used and students are encouraged to speak as much as possible. Afternoon lessons concentrate on spoken skills, conversation and discussion activities. Games, tapes, videos and DVDs are used as well as situational activities. Speaking, speaking and more speaking. Classroom sizes range from 8 per class and maximum 14 students. Every effort is made to keep classes at an ideal size for effective English language instruction.

Student Apartments LSNZ Student Apartment accommodation is offered to our students who prefer independent living. Student Apartments are a great place to make international friends, continue your English practice and enjoy life. The apartment is limited to students over the age of 18. Rooms are on a single, twin and triple share basis. Where possible students from different cultures are placed together so that they have the opportunity to speak English. You will receive full details when your booking is confirmed.
