Auckland Language Centre was established in 1984 and is one of the oldest private English language schools in New Zealand. NZLC's head office is situated in downtown Auckland amidst great shopping, restaurants and nightlife and close to a paradise of water sports. Courses are taught by qualified and experienced staff: General English and Business English to Examination preparation programmes (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, FCE, CAE), Young Learners, Activity Courses and Study Tours. NZLC's approach is very communicative and learners are encouraged to use and practise the language as much as possible. The teaching methods are skills-based (reading, writing, speaking and listening), with vocabulary, grammar and structures introduced around interesting and relevant themes.
