Escuela HispalenseAbout the
Tarifa's Spanish language centre, Escuela Hispalense, in the south of Spain, founded in 1989, was one of the first in the province of Cadiz. It is a meeting place for those who enjoy learning Spanish, in an informal and fun atmosphere, and who appreciate the privilege of living in an Andalucian seaside town.
School teachers are professionals, with many years of experience, whilst also being friendly and empathetic, and will help students to overcome the initial apprehension of learning Spanish as a foreign language. They will prepare you in a short period of time to be confident using the Spanish you have learned in class, in your every day life. Our quality of teaching is certified by the Cervantes Institute and we belong to FEDELE.
The school has a homely feel with classes in small groups. It is important to them that the student feels completely satisfied and that any concerns are resolved.

Accommodation
For years we have concerned ourselves with looking for adequate lodging for our students in Tarifa. Some prefer to spend little money on accommodation, and others like the standards of their normal living environment. To be able to consider as many demands as possible we have structured our offer of accommodation into the following categories:
Type A: Apartments to be shared with 2-6 other students
Type B: Hostel with rooms to be shared with 4-7 other persons
Type C: Private apartments situated right by the beach; suitable for 2-6 people
Type D: Small studios and apartments right in or close to the old town centre; for up to 4 people
Type E: Host families
Type F: Campsites
Surrounding area
The school is right next to the beach(which we can see from our classrooms), as well as the old town, in a central residential area.
