The Intensive-course offers year-round every Monday with 4 lessons daily, max. 9 students. With the Spanish courses students will achieve a high learning progress in a relatively short period of time. Students will learn Spanish more effectively here in Spain than in their home country. Therefore, a small amount of participants in a Spanish course is of special importance. The maximum number of students is 9, but the average is 4-6 students. The lessons are given in Spanish language from the beginning, since the participants come from different countries to Spain. The courses are for all ages from 16 years on.
Once students have arrived in Spain, on the first day of the course, students will have a short interview with one of the teachers so they can be put in one of the 4 Spanish levels.
The lessons are 45 minutes. In the first two lessons students will learn new structures, do exercises, correct their homework and work with the text book. In the third and the fourth lesson they will have another teacher focusing on their oral skills. They will practise what they have learned before, discuss, report and do listening / understanding exercises.

I was in an Academic Language school for 6 months. Thanks to the program, my English improved enormously. When I first entered the school, I had to take a level test and placed in a suitable class. Teachers there helped me through one-to-one lessons. Teachers were excellent and kind. The class is from Monday to Friday, it starts from the basic structure of English grammar to speaking session. Teachers corrected students’ pronunciation thoroughly. Since Hawaii is well known for sight-seeing and tourism is very much developed, I was able to enjoy the good weather, scenery, foods and entertainments around city. The school was near Waikiki beach, so I used to hang around near beach too. At weekends, I went shopping or went to beach with classmates and we still keep in touch! I also wanted to make many international friends, so I stayed in a dormitory that was exclusive for international students. I was able to contact so many friends around the dormitory, which was an excellent experience, because I feel much more global now than before.
