IMSOL (Accredited Teaching Centre by Instituto Cervantes) was established in 1993 in Granada. The city is only 30 minutes far from the natural park of Sierra Nevada and its winter ski resort, and only one hour far from the Costa Tropical. The school is in the very city centre, in the unique quarter of El Realejo, less than 5 minutes walking from Puerta Real, the Cathedral, Gran Via de Coln, theatres, hotels, restaurants, shops etc. IMSOL has five classrooms fully-equipped for the study of Spanish with TV, video, DVD, etc. Other services offered are: "Welcome" folder, tutorials every week, library with loan service, computers with free Internet access and WiFi, video library with loan service, the IMSOL student's card with economic advantages, etc.
IMSOL courses are structured in 6 levels, from Elementary to Proficiency. Groups are small (max. 8 students per class) and there is individual tuition available too. At the end of the course every participant will receive the IMSOL Attendance Certificate. General language instruction include Intensive Spanish, Superintensive Spanish, Combined lessons (group + individual tuition), etc., and Special courses include Spanish & Latin American Literature, Commercial Spanish, Medical Spanish, etc. IMSOL can carry out the official exams: DELE exams (IMSOL is a examination centre), for which the school offers preparatory courses all over the year; and The Chamber of Commerce in Madrid's exams for Commercial, Medical and Tourism Spanish

Accomodation
Instituto Mediterráneo Sol offers the following types of accommodation:
•Shared apartment: the school's apartments are full equipped with bedrooms have bed, bedsheets, wardrobe, table and chair. Students just have to bring their own towels. the Common areas are furnished withTV, DVD, TDT a place to sit and eat;
The kitchen comes with fridge, washing machine, cooker/stove;
•Home Stay accommodation: half board (two meals: breakfast, lunch or dinner) or full board (three meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner), single or double room. A washing of clothes per week is included. Bedsheets are included and students just have to bring their own towels. It is necessary to include in the enrollment any kind of allergies, nutritional habits, if smoker or not etc.
•Shared apartment with Spanish people: In this option, participants can share the apartment with a Spanish family or just with one person, with the possibility of using common areas. Bedsheets are included and students just have to bring their own towels.
Hotel/Hostal and individual apartment booking: If required, Instituto Mediterráneo Sol can also arrange this kind of accommodation. Prices depend on requirements.
Surrounding Area
Downtown, just a couple minutes' walk from the cathedral and within walking distance of the Alhambra, the Albaicín and the Conference Center. Not far from the school, buses depart for the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Mediterranean coast almost every hour Almost all student accommodation options are located a short walk away

The school's facilities include weekly tutorials, language tests, IMSOL attendance certificate, library with loan service, video library with VHS and DVD, computers with free, high-speed internet, and free WiFi.
Activity
IMSOL-Granada offers the student a wide range of activities to carry out during the Spanish Courses. A daily programme that not only helps students to learn the language, but that also creates different contexts in which they can practice it, making easier the immersion in the reality surrounding them. This programme is complemented with different excursions at the week-end. Moreover, there are always many things to do and see: concerts, festivals, museums etc. the schools will also inform students about every event taking place in Granada during students' stay.
