Classes start every Monday of the year, and because you can choose anything from 1 to 52 weeks of study per year, our Group Study full-time course offers a great deal of flexibility.
Curriculum :
The day is separated into specific areas of language development, covering Grammar & Vocabulary in the Language Focus class, while in the Skills Focus classes you will focus on Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. In addition, full-time students benefit from our unique Performance Masterclass, which has been designed to build confidence and improve spoken English.
This class is dedicated to improving your spoken communicaion and building your confidence. With a focus on pronunciaion and by using role-plays and presentaions, you develop oral fluency, which enables you to operate confidently in a variety of real-life situaions.
Intensive focus on extending your reading and wriing skills. You will receive guided pracice in tackling different genres and styles of reading texts and producing a variety of writen pieces. Emphasis is also placed on using reading as an essenial tool for extending your vocabulary. Project Workshop In groups you will work together to produce a shared outcome. This method of working helps you develop skills such as thinking and problem solving, collaboraion, research, organisaion and planning.

Surrounding Area
Basil Paterson was founded in 1929, and has been educating students for over 80 years. The school is located on Queen St, just a 10 min walk from all major shops, tourist attractions, and transport links. Our present building was built by the same stone mason that constructed the White House in America!
