Tti School of EnglishAbout the
Tti School of English was founded in 1999 by Bridie O’Reilly and Guy Rose, as an offshoot of their teacher training academy in Kensington – hence the old name Teacher Training International, which changed to Tti School of English when they decided to focus exclusively on English lessons for overseas students. Their vision was to use their long experience in education and their talent for design and creating inviting social spaces to produce a school that combines high quality education with a caring, sociable community where students can feel home from home. Now in its twelfth year, Tti is consolidating its reputation as perhaps the most attractive EFL school in London, with new study facilities including 5 new classrooms also located on Camden High Street, increasing the quantity and scope of its accommodation, introducing innovative new courses. Tti benefits from the many word-of-mouth recommendations of its happy former students who stay in touch and frequently visit. Tti school will test the student level both with a pre-arrival test and an interview on arrival to choose the most suitable class for the student. When it is time to change student level the teacher will test your level outside class time and give you the results the next day. Tti classes do not follow an individual course book. Instead, teachers follow a detailed and comprehensive syllabus, and select the best and most appropriate materials for your class. The school often ask our students to tell us what they want to learn, and what they think about their classes. The school try to meet these needs and interests to ensure that personal learning objectives are met. The student will also receive copies of study materials to take home and review. The school will help you to develop good study skills, which include guidance on how to organize your worksheets and keep vocabulary books, and The school will monitor your progress via regular in-class testing, and counselling whenever you need it.
