I took a year course in British linguistic study institution. In morning class, it is general English, and afternoon class is about speaking, business English, or any other specific English. There are total 6 levels, from A1 to C2. Class will be chosen through level test. The classes deal with grammar, reading, writing, speaking and listening. Teachers are really kind but strict. There was a topic for each class and students were to think about before the class. Teachers take care of each and every student. There are many Koreans, but there are also people from Europe such as Italy, Spain and France. I made few European friends, so I was able to travel Europe with them. The school is near the beach, so the scenery is beautiful. In summer, I surfed. There are many swimming pools as well. Also many restaurants and pubs are nearby. I hanged around with friends every Friday, and this made my English improve dramatically. I was thinking of homestay, but I thought it was a better idea to get a flat. Because I sometimes go home really late, and there are so many entertainments around the school. My flat was 5 minutes away from the school. For a year, I was able to make friends and learn English. The cost is pretty expensive, but if you are thinking of learning language, the best way is to have fun and maximize learning through playing!
